Veterans Law Association

Northwestern Law is home to numerous student organizations. The breadth of these organizations emphasize the student-focused, collaborative environment Northwestern Law prides itself on. Starting this week, we’ll be posting more in-depth profiles of the student orgs here on campus. First up — the Veterans Law Association.

The Veterans Law Association is a Northwestern Law student organization that is comprised of student veterans and students interested in veterans issues. The Veterans Law Association meets frequently throughout the year and leads popular school-wide events such as panel discussions, service projects, and a Law School Boot Camp. This year, the Veterans Law Association will be hosting a Veterans Day Panel with Northwestern Law alumni, and military veterans, Judge Joel Flaum (7th Cir.) and Judge John J. Tharp (N.D. Il). In addition to an exciting Veterans Day Panel, the Veterans Law Association is hosting its first Veterans Day Celebration at the law school with student veterans and lawyer veterans around Chicago.
